With so much out of your control, it can be good to have traditions and rituals that you can hold on to no matter what's going on.

So here it is, my covid-proof holiday tradition.

Burning Bowl.

Burning Bowl is a ritual that you can use to bring awareness the unhelpful shit that is no longer serving you. The unhelpful thoughts you have, the unhelpful habits, the unhelpful beliefs. I'm talking about whatever it is that holds you back and is within your control.

Here are the basics:

You grab a piece of paper and write down all the stuff you want to release and not bring with you into the next year.

Then you burn that piece of paper. Simple as that.

The big caveat, you gotta focus on stuff that is within your control.

In other words, COVID can't be on that list. That's not within your control. let me help you out with a couple of examples from my burn page for this year:

:: zoning out instead of resting

:: stopping what works

:: jiggle

So, you write it all down and burn that piece of paper. In an open space with plenty of ventilation and fire retardants nearby!

Simple as that.
